Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a far infrared heating method and a device which are effectively applicable even to a low cost and large-scale heating device.
CONSTITUTION: This far infrared heating device comprises a drying chamber 2 which houses timber, a combustion gas generating chamber 1 which supplies high temperature combustion gas into the drying chamber 2 and a far infrared radiation material 5 which is attached to the inner surface of the drying chamber 2 and heated with the high temperature combustion gas to generate far infrared radiating rays. The drying chamber may be used as a food processing chamber for meat and beans and so forth. In the case of timber drying as a far infrared material, carbon may be used, which is generated during the heating treatment and deposited on the inner surface of the drying chamber.
