To provide methods for rainwater detention, a drainage system, and replacement, whereby construction is facilitated.
The present invention is equipped with a plurality of U-shaped gutter blocks 14 that are provided on the periphery of a landfill section 12 so as to enclose the landfill section 12 at a waste treatment site and communicate with the outside while communicating with each other, a liner sheet 18 that covers the entire top face of the landfill section 12, has the edge fixed along the raised fringe parts of the gutter blocks 14, and air-tightly seals the periphery, and a compressor 30 that is connected to the inside of the sheet 18. The internal part enclosed with the gutter blocks is used as a temporarily reservoir for rainwater. The compressor is driven to expand the sheet 18, so as to cause the overflow of standing water to the gutter block sides.
