Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Rankine cycle device having improved performance of lubrication between a shaft seal member and a pump shaft.SOLUTION: A back pressure chamber 45 and a shaft seal chamber 46 are communicated with each other via a first communication passage 51. Thus, lubricating oil is supplied via the first communication passage 51 to the shaft seal chamber 46 together with vaporized working fluid in the back pressure chamber 45, and then the shaft seal chamber 46 is brought into a state in which the shaft seal chamber 46 is filled with the vaporized working fluid mixed with the lubricating oil. The shaft seal chamber 46 and a discharge space 41 are communicated with each other via a second communication passage 52. The second communication passage 52 is connected to a site in which a pressure is lower than in a connection position of the first communication passage 51 with respect to a working fluid passage 15, so that the working fluid supplied via the first communication passage 51 to the shaft seal chamber 46 flows backward via the second communication passage 52 to the working fluid passage 15.
