Title:
RARE EARTH, IRON, BORON ALLOY POWDER FOR PERMANENT MAGNET
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6027105
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain homogeneous and single phase alloy for magnet by consisting main constituents of 8W30atom% R (at least one of rare earth elements including Y), 2W28atom% B and 65W82atom% Fe.

CONSTITUTION: Main constituents consist of 8W30atom% R, 2W28atom% B and 65W82atom% Fe (including part of Fe substituted by at least one of Co which is 50% or less of Fe and Ni which is 8.0% or less of Fe). The main phase is tetragon, diameter of the mean crystal grain is 30μm or more, the mean grain size is 0.3W80μm and actually consists of single crystal. For this reason, extremely homogeneous and single phase alloy which is excellent in oxidization proof and corrosion proof for magnet can be obtained and the yield is improved.
