Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a reaction product useful as a binder for a modified silicone, by allowing a (aminoethyl)-aminopropyl-alkoxysilane to react with a chlorosilane.

CONSTITUTION: The reaction product is obtd. by allowing a 2-(aminoethyl)- aminopropyl-alkoxysilane of formula I, (where R1 and R2 is a 1-8C alkyl, 3-8C cycloalkyl, 2-8C alkenyl or 3-8C cycloalkenyl; and m is 2 or 3), to react with a chlorosilane of formula II, [where R3 and R4 are each R1 and R2; and a and b is each 0-2, on the condition that (a+b) is 0-2].
