PURPOSE: To enlarge the adsorption face at the time of combining with an antibody and to heighten the sensitivity, by incorporating a specified quantity of a polyolefin resin or polystyrene resin into an insoluble carrier combining with an antigen or antibody which is combined specifically with a substance to be measured.
CONSTITUTION: ≥50% polyethylene resin or polystyrene resin is incorporated into an insoluble carrier combining with an antigen or antibody which is specifically combined with a substance to be measured. Also, the specific gravity of this carrier is ≥1.01 and the surface of the carrier is roughened and then, its surface area is 5W2,000 times in comparison with that existing before roughening. The surface of this carrier is roughened by forming said resin in an optional shape and stirring in a ball mill adding an abrasive composite lubricant.
