Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously receive broadcasting, even if a broadcasting signal or a broadcasting frequency is varied, by allowing a receiver mounted to a traveling object receiving ground wave broadcasting to move between different broadcasting stations.
SOLUTION: This receiver is provided with two-system receiving systems consisting of an analog system and a digital system and a GPS receiving circuit, estimates a next tuning candidate physical channel based on the positional information of GPS, and decides whether to switch a physical channel to be received by the evaluation of the receiving situation of the presently receiving physical channel and the receiving situation of the next tuning candidate physical channel.
