The receiver is provided with a VCO 31 generating an oscillation signal S31 with a frequency being a multiple of (n) of a carrier frequency of an object reception signal Sr, a frequency divider circuit 41 frequency-dividing a frequency of the oscillation signal S31 into the carrier frequency, 1st mixer circuits 12, 22 frequency-converting the object reception signal Sr into intermediate frequency signals S13, S23 according to frequency division signals S41, S42 from a frequency divider circuit 41 as a 1st local oscillation signal, 2nd mixer circuits 14, 24 frequency-converting the 1st intermediate frequency signals S13, S23 into 2nd intermediate frequency signal S25 according to 2nd frequency division signals S43, S44 from a frequency divider circuit 41, and a demodulation circuit 18 demodulating the 2nd intermediate frequency signal S15 into the original signal.
