Abstract:
To supply a power to an apparatus with an image capturing device by performing a recording operation by a method wherein an operation mode of a recorder is switched in order to reduce the consumption power when the apparatus is connected thereto.
This recorder is to be connected to an apparatus with an image capturing device or a host computer. When it is detected that the apparatus with the image capturing device is connected to the printer, the recording operation is switched corresponding to the power to be supplied to the apparatus with the image capturing device.
