An inkjet printer 1 includes a nearly U-shaped paper conveyance path to feed the paper P from a paper cassette 11 wherein paper P is stored along a vertical direction, toward the lower side of the printer, reverse the feeding direction by the reverse path unit formed of a feed roller, and then, convey the paper P to the upper side of the printer. An inkjet recording head 59 to perform recording on the paper P is provided on the downstream side of the reverse path unit, accordingly, the feeding direction of the recorded paper P is not reversed at the reverse path unit, then, the deterioration of the recording quality due to the bending-reversal is prevented.
