Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve through-put in recording processing and reduce product size.SOLUTION: The recording device, when conveyance time of a medium in a transit process from present recording to subsequent recording exceeds a first threshold value, executes constant-speed recording by a recording portion at the ending of the present recording and at the beginning of the subsequent recording; when a distance from the ending of the present recording to an end position (an end-side end position) at the end-side of both end positions in a movable range of a movement portion in a main scanning direction, or a deceleration-side distance, is less than a second threshold value, executes deceleration recording by the recording portion in the ending of the present recording; and when a distance from the end-side end position to the beginning of the subsequent recording, or an acceleration-side distance, is less than the second threshold value, executes acceleration recording by the recording portion in the beginning of the subsequent recording.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
