PURPOSE: To economically realize the recycle of resources by enabling the removal of toner images that have been formed on a recording medium with a special coat by rubbing the surface thereof, so that the recording medium can be reproduced.

CONSTITUTION: A recording medium is made up by laminating a separation layer 3 on the surface of a base material 2. In the recording medium, recording can be performed by using an electrophotographic recording means. In other words, in the electrophotographic recording means, toner images are formed on the separation layer 3 of a recording medium, and the images formed by a powdery toner are electrostatically transferred on the separation layer 3 of the recording medium 1, and are fixed by passing it through a thermopressure fixer for obtaining toner images. The toner images obtained are clear and good both in density and in printing quality, and further even if the hand of a user is touched, or the other documents or writing articles are brought into contact as experienced during use, no separation or lack of the toner images is caused, and the solidity of printing can be kept. In this recording medium, the toner images can be removed by rubbing the recording surface with cloth, a metallic blade, or the like, and by applying an external force.
