To provide a CD which cannot reproduce an encryption key.
Main data, data of information necessary to reproduce the main data and prescribed data having a DSV (Digital Versatile Disc) value outside the prescribed range are recorded in a recording medium. The prescribed data is recorded in an area adjacent or proximity to a recording area in which at least a part of the data of the information is recorded. In addition, in the recording medium, the information indicating the area in which the prescribed data is recorded, or the area in which the main data and the data of information are recorded are recorded.
