Abstract:

To provide a recording medium which eliminates a defective printing resulting from a foreign substance, being partially missed from a side surface of the recording medium, and also, which has an improvement in peeling resistance between a base material and an image receiving layer.

This recording medium comprises a laminated body including the base material and the image receiving layer which overlies the base material, and a side surface resin layer which is provided at least at a part of the side surface of the laminated body.
