Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable evading trouble such as inputting a product number, a personal code number and the like by a user whenever a recording medium is used and to enable preventing illegal use of a recording medium even if the personal code number and the like are leaked to the other person.
SOLUTION: The ID of an optical disk of a legal user is automatically recorded in a recording/reproducing region (step S6). It is judged automatically whether a partial ROM disk is used by a legal user or not depending on whether this ID coincides with an ID of an actual optical disk drive or not (step S4). And start (step S7) or stop of start of a program stored in the ROM region is performed.
