To provide a small-sized disk drive device with a small-sized buffer device having non-linear spring characteristics and surely absorbing and damping even the vibrations, etc., of high frequency.

Each buffer device 1 has a pair of elastic bodies 2, 2 being installed to a spring holding base 14 and holding a device body 11. In the elastic bodies 2, the fixing end sides of leaf springs 2A-2D having different lengths on the free end sides are supported by each fixing section 14d in a cantilever manner. Each leaf spring 2A-2D consists of carbon fibers respectively, and both side faces 11a of the device body 11 are held successively through each spring bearing 16 from the free end side of the longest lead spring 2A in each leaf spring 2A-2D. Both vibrations having low frequency and vibrations having a high frequency received from the outside can be absorbed and damped surely by the device body 11 in each buffer device 1, and vibrations and an impulse at the time of falling, etc., can be absorbed and damped certainly by each damper 19 made of a rubber interposed between the device body 11 and the spring holding substrate 14.
