Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester yarn having modified mechanical strength and deterioration resistance for recycling from a waste polyester yarn to a recycled yarn by remelting.
SOLUTION: This polyester yarn comprises polyester molecule chains crosslinkable through silica particles treated with a silane compound containing an alkoxy group and an epoxy group and added with alumina particles. The polyester yarn contains 0.0005-0.5 wt.% of the silane compound, 0.05-5 wt.% of the silica particles and 0.0001-5 wt.% of the alumina particles based on a polyester resin.
