Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reduction gear which can be down-sized while suppressing agitation resistance by filled lubricating oil, in the reduction gear to be used in a state where the rotation axis of a planetary gear is directed to a vertical direction.SOLUTION: A reduction gear 1 includes: a housing 10 internally filled with lubricating oil; an internal gear arranged in a state where an input/output axis A is directed to the vertical direction; the planetary gear engaging with the internal gear; and a carrier 60 supported on the housing 10 so as to be relatively rotatable around the input/output axis A for supporting the planetary gear so as to be revolvable around the input/output axis A. The carrier 60 includes: a storage part 100 capable of storing the lubricating oil; discharge ports 121-124 formed and opened above the storage part 100; and a guide flow passage 110 communicated with the storage part 100 and the discharge ports 121-124 for guiding the lubricating oil rising with the rotation of the carrier 60 from the storage part 100 to the discharge ports 121-124.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
