The reel member 10A is provided with: a winding core part 20 attachable to a rotation drive shaft and capable of taking up a lengthy film 2; and first and second flanges 21, 22 opposingly arranged through the winding core part 20. On outer peripheral portions of the first and second flanges 21, 22, a connection cover part 13 connected so as to cover a space between the first and second flanges 21, 22 without a clearance and having a film taking out port 16 for passing the film 2 is provided. The winding core part 20 is constituted so as to be relatively rotatable in a film taking up direction or a film drawing out direction relative to the first and second flanges 21, 22.
