The refrigerating device 1 for freezing treated objects W continuously fed into the freezing chamber 21 comprises a pre-treatment chamber 22 provided at the front stage of the freezing chamber 21 and an after-treatment chamber 23 provided at the rear stage of the freezing chamber 21. The pre-treatment chamber 22 is communicated with the after-treatment chamber 23 via a circulation duct 25 so that air is circulated from the after-treatment chamber 23 through the freezing chamber 21 into the pre-treatment chamber 22 and the circulation duct 25 and then into the after-treatment chamber 23.
