Abstract:
To safely operate an expander even in startup, in a refrigeration cycle device effectively recovering energy generated by expansion of a refrigerant.
This refrigeration cycle device is provided with: a refrigeration cycle composed by sealing a refrigerant in a circuit with a compressor 1, a radiator 2, the expander 3 and an evaporator 4 connected in this order; and a power conversion device 5 recovering expansion energy of the refrigerant expanded in the expander 3. The power conversion device 5 is equipped with a generator; and the generator is used for a motor as a starting means for starting the expander 3.
