Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator and a refrigerator system capable of facilitating discrimination of food items in a stockroom.SOLUTION: A refrigerator comprises: communication means connectable to the Internet; and a camera 35-1 photographing food items in a stockroom, transmits data on an image picked up by the camera 35-1 to a server connected to the Internet by the communication means, and enables the image data to be visually recognized on a display terminal connected to the server. In the stockroom, an internal floodlight 34-1 is provided for emitting light into the stockroom at a time of photographing the food items by the camera 35-1, and the camera 35-1 and the internal floodlight 34-1 are provided to be placed in an opening side of a front surface of the stockroom. By doing so, the camera 35-1 photographs an interior of the stockroom from a side irradiated with the light from the internal floodlight 34-1, so that the camera 35-1 can pick up the image of the food items in the stockroom brightly and clearly. This can facilitate discriminating the food items in the stockroom. In addition, it is unnecessary to perform image processing for facilitating discriminating the food items, so that the refrigerator can be put to practical use at low cost.
