Abstract:
To provide a refrigerator with reduced power consumption, which facilitates controlling a heater regardless of the capacity of a circuit.
The refrigerator includes a detection circuit for detecting a commercial power supply or AC voltage supplied from the commercial power supply, a heater composed of a defrosting heater and an internal temperature compensating heater to which the AC voltage is applied, a switching circuit having switching elements for turning on/off the conduction of the heaters by being connected in series to the heaters, and a control device for variably controlling to turn on/off the conduction of the heaters by a detected voltage value by the detection circuit.
