Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fabric for reinforcement good in resin impregnation properties, high in reinforcement proof strength of resin-impregnated fabric, and good in workability and work efficiency to reinforce a floor slab or a wall surface of a bridge, a road, a lighthouse, a chimney, and a building, etc.SOLUTION: The fabric for reinforcement comprises a yarn of a high-strength fiber selected from a group consisting of a para-based aramid fiber, a polyarylate fiber, a PBO (polybenzobisoxazole) fiber and a carbon fiber and having a fibrillated fiber surface with a tensile strength of 16 cN/dtex or more and a specific surface area of 0.24-0.50 m/g in one or both of warp and weft yarns.SELECTED DRAWING: None
