To provide a remote monitoring system preventing a user from failing to replace a battery, and allowing efficient battery replacement.
This remote monitoring system has a plurality of monitoring terminals 2, a monitoring center 3, and a mobile terminal 5. Each of the plurality of monitoring terminals 2 generates a notice A and a notice B showing replacement time of a battery based on a voltage measurement result of the battery, and a notice C showing that the battery replacement has been normally completed, and transmits them to the monitoring center 3. The monitoring center 3 groups the received notices in each maintenance section, stores them in a storage part as maintenance section-based notice data. When receiving the notice, the monitoring center 3 updates the maintenance section-based notice data inside the storage part, extracts the desired data of the maintenance section from the maintenance section-based notice data stored in the storage part as the need arises, generates notification data, and transmits them to the mobile terminal 5.
