Abstract:
To provide a reproducing method for enhancing the reproducing speed of recorded signals which are recorded on a recording medium.
In the reproducing method for applying frequency demodulation and Bi-phase demodulation in order, to the recorded signal read out of a recording medium (2) to reproduce the recorded signal, weighting is performed to a signal (S3) which is frequency-demodulated with a predetermined frequency to be used for frequency demodulation as a reference, and a weighted signal (S4) is used to perform viterbi decoding processing, such that the recorded signal is reproduced while correcting an error in reproduction.
