Abstract:
To provide a resin composition excellent in moldability, mechanical properties, heat resistance, and flame retardancy, and to provide a molded article made thereof.
The resin composition includes a polylactic acid resin and a flame retardant of a combination of at least one flame retardant selected from bromine-based flame retardants and nitrogen compound-based flame retardants, with other inorganic flame retardants. The content of the flame retardant is preferably 1-150 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the polylactic acid resin. The resin composition optionally contains a reinforcing material, crystal nucleating agent, plasticizer and the like.
