Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the order of retrieval results and to improve the retrieval results of key word retrieval and retrieval using a feature vector by performing both the retrieving processes at the same time and combining the results.
SOLUTION: When a retrieval request sentence is inputted from an input means 11, a word extracting means 16 extracts a word from the request sentence by referring to a word dictionary 14. A vector generating means 17 reads the word vector corresponding to the extracted word out of the word dictionary 14 and converts the request sentence into a request vector. A vector retrieving means 18 calculates the distances between the request sentence vector and data vectors corresponding to respective data in a data base 15 to find meaning similarity. A key word retrieving means 19 searches the data base 15 for data including the extracted word. Then an extended retrieving means 20 scores respective data according to the results of the retrieving means 18 and 19. Then the extended retrieving means 20 adds the scores of the both by the data and outputs them to an output means 12 sequentially from the data having the largest total scores.
