Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a protection circuit which protects an internal circuit in an integrated circuit against a reverse battery connection.
CONSTITUTION: This protection circuit 10 includes a path transistor 14 which turns on, when a source voltage is applied properly to an integrated circuit 26. If, however, a power source is connected improperly, a 2nd transistor 32 becomes active to inactivate the path transistor 14, so that a reverse source voltage cannot be applied to the internal circuit.
