To provide a rice storing device which can easily supplement rice from a rice throwing port provided in a kitchen counter and can easily take out the rice from the front surface of a kitchen cabinet.

In the rice storing device which consists of the rice throwing in port 2, which is opened at the end portion of the kitchen counter K and can be freely opened and closed, and a rice chest 1 which is arranged within the kitchen cabinet below the rice throwing port 2 and is provided with a rice drop part 13 which communicates with the rice throwing port 2 and the taking out port 11 for the rice, the permeation of water is prevented by forming a rising section 21 which rises from a counter top 3 on the periphery of the rice throwing port 2, and the taking out port 11 which can take out the fixed quantity of the rice, is formed in the front surface of the rice chest 1.
