PURPOSE: To make manufacture easier and eliminate the need for changing the shape of a riser even when the length of a step in the travel direction is changed by providing a stopper-arm attached to the lower part of the riser, and a stopper-pin attached to below the front-rear part of a step.
CONSTITUTION: A riser 2 is moved around a pin 9a of a support-link 8a of a step 1a located upward, a support-roller 10b of a step 1b located downward is moved in an up and down direction along a guide rail 15b of the riser 2, and the face of the riser 2 is moved constantly in contact with the end part of the step 1b located downward. Besides, with a stopper arm 12b at the lower part of the riser 2, its upper face is supported and guided by a stop per-pin 13a provided to a bracket of the step 1a located upward to prevent the riser 2 from lifting above the face of the step 1a, and to guide the riser 2 so as to move downward with the step 1a when the step 1a is moved downward.
