The robot cleaner 1 is provided with a cleaner body 3 which is provided with an electric blower 16, a dust collecting chamber 17, an air intake port 22, a gas exhaust port 19, a travelling control part 25, wheels for travelling 26, and a second battery 4 and can be autonomously travelled. When the second battery 4 is charged, the cleaner body 3 climbs over the upward slope 50 of a charging base 6 with the wheels 26 for travelling. Then, the charging electrode 40 of the cleaner body 3 is always brought into pressure contact with the output electrode 57 of a charging stand 7 by gravity at the position of a downward slope 51.
