Abstract:

To provide a robot showing expression which expresses smile distinctly.

The robot showing expression comprises a face model 10 which is similar to a human face. The eye part 30 of the face model 10 includes upper eyelids 32 and lower eyelids 33 which are each vertically moved to open the eyes of the face model 10. The upper edge of each lower eyelid 33 is formed in an upward bending arc. The lower edge of each upper eyelid 32 and the upper edge of each lower eyelid 33 are each formed to have a forward bending arcuate shape. When smile is expressed in the robot showing expression, the upper and lower eyelids 32 and 33 are closed at a position upper than each eyeball and upper than the center of a through-hole 20a of an upper face part 20.
