Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot capable of effectively improving a lubrication life of lubricant used for a gear device, and the gear device.SOLUTION: A robot comprises: a first member; a second member provided in a rotatable manner with respect to the first member; and a gear device transmitting driving force from one side to the other side of the first member and the second member. The gear device includes: internal teeth and external teeth being provided in the middle of a transmission path of the driving force and engaging with one another; and lubricant arranged among the internal teeth and the external teeth. An average crystal grain diameter of a constituent material of the external teeth is smaller than an average crystal grain diameter of a constituent material of the internal teeth.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
