The rocking toy is provided inside a shell body with a pendulum which a permanent magnet is annexed, an electric magnet for applying magnetic force to the pendulum, and an electric magnet controlling means for controlling the electric magnet and is composed in a way that the operating direction of the pendulum can be changed inside the shell body to keep the installing position of the electric magnet changeable inside the shell body in accordance with the acting direction of the pendulum.
