Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable installation of roll paper to be checked visually and facilitated, during replacement of the roll paper which is performed while an upper holder is open, by attaching a guide part to the upper holder.
SOLUTION: In a roll paper supply device 2, which includes a lower holder 10 into which roll paper 4 can be stored freely from its upper opening 10a, an upper holder 12 freely opening and closing the opening 10a of the lower holder 10, and a guide part 13 guiding the extended part of the roll paper 4 placed in the lower holder 10, and which supplies the extended part of the roll paper 4 to the roll paper introducing part 5 of a printing device 1, the guide part 13 is secured to the upper holder 12, abuts to the surface of the extended part of the roll paper 4, and has a roller 15 which can be rotated as the extended part moves.
