Abstract:
To provide a rolling bearing having extremely excellent low-friction characteristics by combining a sliding material using a specified DLC material with a specified lubricating oil composition or a specified lubricant.
In this rolling bearing, a diamond-like carbon material is applied onto the sliding surface of at least one of an outer ring 1, an inner ring 2, and balls 4 of the rolling bearing. Desirably, the rolling bearing is slid under the lubricating oil composition containing a specified ashless friction conditioning agent or the lubricant formed mainly of a hydroxyl group-containing compound to remarkably reduce friction loss.
