The root hair treatment apparatus 10 has such a construction that circular chains 19 circulatingly driven through the upper and lower parts of a frame 11 are attached with multiple mounting materials 18 at intervals in the circulating direction and burners 29 and 31 for burning and removing root hair of taros A on the mounting materials 18 are attached to the frame 11.
