PURPOSE: To stably attain positioning of a rotary member and a fixed housing for a long period by providing the fixed housing, rotary member and a seal means while supporting a cylindrical member to be fitted to the fixed housing by the rotary member.

CONSTITUTION: A rotary joint 38 is formed by a fixed housing 80, a rotary member 81 and seal means 84, 85. A fluid passage 82, which circulates fluid, is formed in a fixed housing 80 in which the rotary member 81 is rotatably provided, and seal means 84, 85, which prevent the leakage of fluid between fluid passages 82, 83 while permitting rotation of the rotary member 81 for the fixed housing, are provided. A cylindrical member 91 is rotatably supported to the rotary member 81 through bearings 90 and fitted to the periphery of the fixed housing 80. As a result, the rotary member and the fixed housing can be positioned in a stable condition over a long period.
