Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure stable precision and to reduce cost by facilitating production in a rotary polygon mirror. SOLUTION: In this optical scanner, the rotary polygon mirror 1 deflects a beam from a light source in a main scanning direction, and an optical part 11 constituting the mirror 1 and a shaft part 12 for attaching a motor for rotating the optical part 11 are integrally molded of glass.
