Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rotating electric machine in which a guide part for inserting a rotor can be formed on the inner peripheral side of a stator without enlarging the size of a gap, which is excellent in the performance of output or the like and which can be suppressed in the damages and deformation of the surface of the stator and the rotor.
SOLUTION: The rotating electric machine 1 is equipped with a stator 4 having a magnetic pole 3 formed on the inner peripheral surface of a frame 2, and a rotor 8 which is arranged with a space with respect to the inner peripheral surface of the magnetic pole 3 and has a magnetic pole 10 opposing to the magnetic pole 3 in the radial direction. In the rotating electric machine 1 guides 18, 19 which are formed on at least either the stator 4 or the rotor 8 are formed at a position other than the one opposite to the magnetic pole 3 of the stator 4 or the magnetic pole 10 of the rotor 8 in the radial direction, and the diameter dimensions D1, D4 of the guides 18, 19 exceed the outer diametric dimension D2 of the magnetic pole 10 of the rotor 8 and are less than the inner diametric dimension D3 of the magnetic pole 3 of the stator 4.
