Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation output device with a buffer mechanism which is of a small size and light weight and is inexpensive.
SOLUTION: In the rotation output device 10 with a buffer mechanism, a rotor 1 incorporating permanent magnets 3 is fixed to a rotating shaft 11, and a stator 5 with coils 6 wound on it is placed around the rotor 1. The rotation output device 10 is so constituted that torque is generated by electromagnetic attractive and repellent forces exerted between the magnetic poles of the rotor 1 and the stator 5, and the rotating shaft is rotated by the forces. The rotating shaft 11 is supported so that the shaft can be rotated and slid in the axial direction. The rotor 1 and the stator 5 are disposed with displacement between them in the axial direction.
