This rotor for induction motor which can abolish a machining processing of the periphery of the rotor and the grooving of the shaft and curtail stop rings and collars and moreover can shorten the man-hours in the assembly of a motor, by charging a part of the periphery of the shaft with a charging metal 4 and making a step part at the same time, when molding a slot 7 and an end ring 9 of a rotor core 1 by die cast, or by charging the space between the rotor core 1 and the shaft further at the same time as the time of the charge, thereby making it into a rotor.
