Title:
ROUGHLY STRUCTURED THREE-DIMENSIONAL WOVEN FABRIC AND ITS PRODUCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05321077
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the roughly structured three-dimensional woven fabric having wide distances between the fibers and the layers of the woven fabric and useful as an intermediate base material for composite members.

CONSTITUTION: Gauze warp 2 arranged in response to ground warps 1 and having the substantially same stiffness as that of the ground warps 1 are woven with the groups of the ground warps 1 into a gauze tissue. The ground warps 1 are arranged in each of plural stages, have a high flexural stiffness capable of holding a relatively large curvature in the gauze tissue. At least three wefts 3 are picked into the warps 1,2 so as to cross with the warps 1,2 and nip the warps 1,2 for each gauze tissue, thus producing a layer of woven fabric P. Two layers of the woven fabric P are placed in the mutually faced state in the vertical direction and combined with each other by entangling the second warps 4 with the wefts 3 or the warps 2 or gauze warps 2.
