PURPOSE: To facilitate the manufacture of a row boat, by forming a stepped part in the shell plating of a hull in the cockpit section of a row boat, and as well by overlapping both ends of floor plates of the cockpit section together on the stepped part to bond them.

CONSTITUTION: In a row boat in which the shell plating 2 of a hull is substantially vertical, there is provided a stepped part 6 such that the upper part 21 of the outer shell plate is positioned outer than the lower section 22 thereof. Both ends of floor plate sections 4, 5 are overlapped on this stepped part 6 and are bonded together by means of a bonding agent so that the floor of the cockpit section is secured to the shell plating of the hull. By attaching the floor plates 4, 5 on the stepped part 6, it is possible to facilitate the positioning and holding of the floor plates 4, 5 so that the manufacture of the row boat may be simplified.
