Abstract:
To provide a rubber composition capable of improving wear resistance, on-ice performance and steering stability on dry road in a balanced manner, and a studless tire using the same.
The rubber composition includes a diene-based copolymer of a conjugate diene-based polymer having a conjugate diene-based constituent unit represented by formula (I), at least one end of the polymer being modified by a compound having a functional group having nitrogen atom; and isoprene-based rubber, wherein X1, X2 and X3 each independently represent nitrogen-containing, hydroxyl, hydrocarbyl or substituted hydrocarbyl group, and at least one of X1, X2 and X3 is a nitrogen-containing or hydroxyl group.
