To provide rubber mixtures comprising at least one rubber component, at least one filler and conventional additives which exhibit improved hysteresis behavior in the vulcanized state and, as the result, can reduce rolling resistance and improve wetted surface slip behavior compared to the conventional rubber mixtures when these rubber mixtures are used, e.g. in tires.
Rubber mixtures comprise (a), as the filler, a gel which is substantially composed of a rubber and has a particle size of 3×10-9-1×10-6 m and a swelling index in toluene of 1-15 and has an electrophilic site in its surface and, in addition, (b) a substance which acts as a connecting agent among the gel particles and is represented by the structure: A-R-A (wherein A is a nucleophilic group, particularly preferably -NH2, -SH, -Si-OH, -OH or -NHR1, provided that R1 is 3≥C alkyl or phenyl; R is a saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon residue having a molecular weight of up to 106 g/mol or a siloxane residue having a molecular weight of up to 106 g/mol).
