To provide rubber mixtures which exhibit improved hysteresis behavior in the vulcanized state and, as the result, can reduce rolling resistance and improve wetted surface slip behavior compared to the conventional rubber mixtures when these rubber mixture are used, e.g. in tires.
Rubber mixtures comprise, as the filler, at least one first gel which is substantially composed of a rubber and has a particle size of 3×10-9-1×10-6 m and a swelling index in toluene of 1-15 and has an acidic or basic group at least in its surface, the acidic or basic group having not been formed by the reaction with dithiophosphoric acid and, in addition, (a) as another filler, at least one second gel which is substantially composed of a rubber and has a particle size of 3×10-9-1×10-6 m and a swelling index in toluene of 1-15 and can effect neutralization reaction with the acidic or basic group of the first gel and/or (b), as another additive, at least one substance which can effect neutralization reaction with the acidic or basic group of at least one of the gels.
