PURPOSE: To make grinding powder sticking to the surface of a rubber roll eliminable so speedily, by installing a brush rotatively brushing the high pressure air purifying rubber roll and an adhesive tape cleaning mechanism wiping clean the rubber roll.
CONSTITUTION: High pressure air is blown against both sides of a rubber roll 11' held by a chucking mechanism 9 from an air nozzle 8, scattering grinding powder and abrasive powder around. When this high pressure air blast out of the air nozzle 8 is over, a push-up table 7 goes down while an outlet door is opened, and the rubber roll 11' which is left held by the chucking mechanism 9 intact is moved up to a discharge chute 17 by a slide machine 13. During this movement, a rubber roll 1' eliminates remaining grinding powder and abrasive powder on the surface by a brush 11 in rotation, and furthermore, the infinitesimal grinding powder and abrasive powder left over are completely removed by an adhesive tape surface.
