To provide a new runway-embedded type flash device which is light-weight, has a long life and high effective light intensity, and enables switching of the light intensity, and which achieves low electric power consumption and may be placed on the ground surface with a bottom part located at the lower side without needing a stand etc.SOLUTION: A runway-embedded type flash device 1 includes: a cylindrical body 10; a ceiling member 11; a light guide member 12, an LED flash light source 13; and a bottom lid member 16. The cylindrical body may be embedded in a runway. The ceiling member is disposed at an upper opening of the cylindrical body while exposed on a runway surface when the cylindrical body is embedded in the runway. The ceiling member is provided with a flash light radiation window. The light guide member is disposed in the flash light radiation window. The LED flash light source is disposed within the cylindrical body in a state that the LED flash light source may radiate flash light to the light guide member disposed at the flash light radiation window. The light guide member may radiate flash light radiated from the LED flash light source through the flash light radiation window to the outside. The bottom lid member is disposed in a state that the bottom lid member may close a lower opening of the cylindrical body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
